Title: My Trails Map Set on Mac Basecamp
Post by: riverrat00 on December 18, 2010, 03:15:41 AM
Whats up another newbie here with another dumb question. I downloaded my trails for use on my oregon 400t. I haven't tried to put it on my oregon yet but tried to put it on basecamp. When I installed it with the map manager it installed fine but there is only a white screen and black dots that show up in basecamp. The map is blank other than the black dots  ???

Might want to zoom in a bit...

That mapset is overlay/transparent which usually does not have an overview map to 'display'.
The two black dots per selection quad/tile are due to the overlay/transparent build process used by that map author.

As Indrid Cold mentioned, zoom-in (2 mile level or more) and the actually trail data, etc. will display.   In MapSource, if the display detail is changed from normal to highest the trails will display at 7 mi - I would expect BaseCamp to work the same.
