Title: Help with Magellan SporTrek Pro

I have a Magellan SporTrek Pro that all of a sudden lost its base map loaded at the factory. I can't get any help fro MAGELLAN at all. DO NOT PRUCHASE THERE PRODUCTS and expect help on a Legacy unit.
Has any one out  there had this problem.

When I turn my unit on it say's : Unit Currently Contains NO MAP!
                                                  Initiating Map Upload.

The unit just sits there for ever and does nothing. Sat it outside over night and still nothing.
You can't even turn the unit off without removing the batteries.
I certainly would appreciate any advice you have.

Ditch it and get yourself a Vista HCx

Concur; Garmin's support is awesome; even for discontinued devices
