Title: Can I get UTM grid lines to show on my map?
Post by: patrollerrob on April 08, 2010, 09:13:11 PM
I have Jonh M's NW topo on my computer and Vista HCX.  Is there any way I can print a hard copy with UTM grid overlays?
btw thanks to John and all who helped with the map!

The grid lines would have to be created and included with the rest of the data when the mapset was created.  It is possible to display positions in UTM coordinates on the GPSr.
An overlay/transparent mapset of UTM grid lines could be created; however, MapSource will only display one mapset at a time.  The latest BaseCamp can display a mapset which is on the GPSr - I have not tried it to see what limitations it has.

Will BaseCamp also print grid lines on a hardcopy map on the Windows version?
