Title: Map name displayed for split maps
Post by: 93ToyTruck on April 25, 2016, 11:27:33 AM
Some GPS receivers display the names of the split map files instead of the parent map. If the map isn't split, it displays the name correctly. Is there any way to fix this?

Not sure that I understand what the screenshot represents, or what you want it to look like. But Javawa has three free programs that all permit you to change the displayed name of mapsets:

I think, what you see is the name of the map invented by MapInstall.

The screenshot shows how the names are being displayed on a GPS. All of the names with commas are split maps. H-12-B, I-10-009, etc are the split file names instead of the map name.

I think popej is right in that it's a name invented by MapInstall.

It looks like IMGname will resolve the problem on a one by one basis.

Thanks to both of you.
