Title: 2009 F-150 with Garmin built in GPS unit
Post by: campNride on December 06, 2009, 06:46:51 PM
My dad has a new 09 F-150 with the built in Garmin GPS unit that gets updates from a CD. I was wanting to download the topo maps to it for him when I see him in a couple weeks. Is it as simple as burning the topo map of Oregon to a cd and then install it??? Does it have a SD card spot?? He isn't very computer savy to say the least. He can just now check his email:)  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would love to help him out.

Never heard about that product before. You might want to check with Garmin and see if you are able to load US TOPO 2008 on it and then if so, your answer would be yes you can load maps from this site.
