Title: Mapsource crashes after map loaded
Post by: ocalld on August 22, 2009, 12:34:27 PM
Hi,
I've been trying to load a map into mapsource using mapset toolkit 1.62 beta.
The map is from http://sites.google.com/site/talkytoasteruk/ukmaps
I'm trying to load the latest full UK map with contours and routable.

The map seems to convert OK (are there any log files??? ) but when i try to open mapsource i get a message: "There is a problem with your Garmin application"
selecting OK, just shuts mapsource.

Can anyone offer some advice to get this map loaded?

Thanks.
Dan

Thanks for the reply.

That clarifies it.

Is there any alternative software to mapsource to to use so that i can use the img files on a PC?

Basically, i'm trying to upload the systrans cycle routes of UK, so i can plan rides. is there any other map or software i can use?

Again, thanks for the reply.
Cheers
Dan

Those particular files are already pre-compiled, just drag and drop.
