Title: How to send maps from two different mapsets to GPSmap 60CSx
Post by: tdi2000 on May 11, 2015, 12:54:05 PM
I will be visiting North Carolina and Virginia in the near future. I successfully downloaded vatopo11 and nctopo11 and installed both on my PC. If I open MapSource I can see both sets of maps and can select either one and view it on the PC. I can also send one of the mapsets to my GPSmap 60CSx and view it there. The sending process overwrites whatever mapset is already on the GPS.

I want both NC and VA to be on the GPS at the same time (I believe I have sufficient memory). How do I get both mapsets onto the GPS simultaneously?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Select tiles form a map, switch to second map, again select tiles and in the end send them all to GPS.

Thank you popej. That was way too simple for me to think of it myself.

I thought if I switched to another mapset the selections would be lost. Not so.

Thanks again for a prompt and very useful reply.
