Title: New to HH gps bought a garmin 62st and a bit overwhelmed
Post by: redneckbuckeye on April 11, 2014, 06:22:42 PM
I Just purchased a Garmin 62st preloaded with the 100k US topo, for hunting. I mostly hunt Indiana and OH. I like that you can get the 24k map for midwest, but like the OH map the shows private land, state land and federal land. Is there a way to get these maps cheaper or even free, 99.00 seems high, also interested in the birds eye view.

thanks for any help or advise

Shop around, you will sometimes find a sale. Also, have you registered your new GPS yet? When you do, Garmin will send you a coupon for a 10% discount.

Most of the maps on this site are free so download anything that looks interesting and see if you like it. But for Garmin products, "it is what it is". The only way to get them for free is to steal them, and you have come to the wrong place if that's what you want.  ;)
