I am really new to this. I have a DeLorme pn20 with Topo USA. I've had it for several years and didn't use it much. I now just got a Garmin Astro and I like it that I can keep track of my dogs. Question: Can and how can I change the Delorme Topo map files to something I could use on my Astro? Thanks, this is a great site.
You can't. DeLorme and Garmin use completely different map formats. Even if there were a way to change the Delorme maps to Garmin format, it would violate the Delorme software license and it couldn't be discussed here.

But you can download plenty of maps for your Garmin from this site.
