what am i doing wrong,for some reason when i create a route and set waypoints to navigate to, my 650 seems to go into sat nav mode and plans a totally different route to get to my planned waypoints, it is set in hiking mode so am i being dumb, and missing something here ?

ive been using viewranger on my iphone as my gps but decided to buy another garmin gps. what i liked about viewranger was when i record my route, at the end i can take a screenshot of the route and post it to FB/twitter etc.
if i record a route on my oregon, is it possible to take a screenshot of it so it can be uploaded, or would i have to take a photo of the screen with my iphone to do it?
also the pictures that i take with the oregon, how do i upload them. do i have to download them to my pc and do it from there?

ive managed to find and download  snowdon and Ben nevis and both work fine on my oregon but for the life of me i cant find the lake district map
