I am still here. Any one know where I can get data that shows all the golf courses in Washington state? Now that I have been using Global mapper things are running quite smoothly. I want to ad more details to my final. Which I intend to run on Sunday if I get all the little things I am looking for.

Nope, but I would see if you can find any in google earth. It is a fairly easy to convert from .kml to a friendly format.
I am sure it is not complete, GNIS includes golf courses in the Locale feature type.
