Title: Basecamp v 3.0.5 Non square kilometer grid squares
Post by: philhu on July 19, 2010, 05:59:56 AM
HI, I live in Panama and make custom maps for my Oregon 550 to make KMZ files.
I use nad 27 utm scanned maps. When the kmzs are shown or printed in Basecamp the height of the grid squares is about 1.5 times higher than the width. when shown in google earth they appear to be equal.
The scale at the bottom of the printed basecamp map indicates that the height is correct. (equals 1 kilometer).
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. would appreciate any help. Thanks
