Title: GPX data to single image for Oregon 450t?
Post by: mattn03 on March 05, 2014, 07:26:05 PM
I'd like to take this attached .gpx file and have an easier way to toggle the entire tracks, waypoint, etc information on/off at one time on my Oregon 450t.  Is this possible?

The program you want is "gpx2img".  This is a quick and dirty program to make a Garmin transparent map, however you have limited control of the appearance and it is not easily shared.
The link below will take you to a tutorial that I wrote for doing exactly what you want.  While the vast majority of map makers on here make various types of topo's there is a small handful that make maps of GPS tracks, mostly for ATVing.  I know several people that use the method in the tutorial below.  Don't be intimidated, I have made it real easy.
