Newbie looking for help

Just bought a Garmin Etrex Vista HCX and trying to load the NYS free snowmobile maps to mapsource.  Having some issues as it tells me that it is not a valid map source file.  When I go into utilities it comes up as a map product but cannot get it into map source.

Any help is appreciated......

I don't know that map, but if it is like others it would be a transparent overlay.

That map comes with an installer, you use that to load the map into MapSource.
