Help with loading a purchased map onto Oregon 450

Ok. I have a friend who purchased a lakes map on sd card from Garmin. I copied it to my desktop. Now i need to know how to send that info to MY sd card for garmin oregon 450. Pretty new at this so any help would be appreciated.

If you purchased the map on a card, then it can only be used on the original card. The Garmin cards are copy protected and even if they could be copied it would be piracy. So unless your friend can loan you his map card when you need it then you'll need to purchase your own maps.

Boyd is right there, that map would be locked to the preprogrammed datacard. Even if there was a way it's against out TOU to help with this so we're going to lock this thread. We can assist you if you want to build your own map, just not with the Garmin copywriten stuff.
