Having trouble "selecting" Florida Keys on Florida Topo

Hi-

I'm attempting to send the Florida keys topo to my Oregon device but when I use the selection tool to draw a box around the area (the keys) nothing happens when I unclick.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
