Hello!
I have a Nüivi 1340 with its original maps City Navigator Europe NT 2011. I am travelling to USA in some weeks, so I wanted to load the map from Florida. I've downloaded Florida Topo, I've installed BaseCamp program and I followed all steps to load Florida topo into my gps. Everything went out ok. Afterwards, I've disconnected the GPS from the PC and tried to entered an address in Florida, to be sure that the map was correctly loaded and I couldn't. I cannot change the country. If I go to Where to? > Address and choose Change Country, United States is not in the list. So I went to Tools>Settings>Map>Info and I see that Florida Topo and CN Europe NT 2011.10 are checked, so this means that Florida topo map is in the GPS. Can anyone help me with this? I would like to be able to use the map from Europe and Florida, just chaning the country name...
Thank you in advance.

The Florida map (and most of the maps here) are not routable and don't have address information loaded.  Due to the complicated nature of getting and programming the maps and the cost prohibitive software required to do it correctly address routing isn't available.

Try garmin.openstreetmap.nl for free routable maps of Florida.

But he says he wants to use Where To > Address. I didn't think that OpenStreetMap could search for addresses? I have never used them, so I could be mistaken.

If you want the full functionality you're used to with City Navigator, you might just bite the bullet and purchase the "lower 49" version of City Navigator North America. It costs $60 here in the US: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=253&pID=28765

This will give you some nice additional features, such as the display of speed limits and lane assist. There are no free maps with these capabilities.

I read that address search is working now, but haven't tried it recently.  Since it's free, the OP might want to try it out.  If the OP can verify the address search in BaseCamp against Google maps, it should work.
