Roads show in Mapsource but not on Garmin Oregon 450

Greetings,

I've downloaded a topo map and followed the tutorial on installing it to my computer and onto my Garmin Oregon 450.  In the Mapsource software the map shows roads, however when I sent it to my GPS it does not.  What am I doing wrong?

Possibly nothing. There's an old Oregon bug related to the profiles feature. What profile do you have set on the Oregon? If not recreational, switch to recreational. If it is already recreational, switch to another profile, then back to recreational.

Aside from that look at Setup > Map > Advanced Setup > Zoom levels and set everything to auto. Also set map detail to Most.

Be sure you have zoomed in to about 800 feet also.
