GPSMAP 60CSx and Maps

I am looking  at buying this device to use this year for hunting here in Colorado.  I know that it doesn't come with maps so my question is do I need to by the Maps from Garmin or will the Colorado Topo Maps here along with the Colorado GMU overlays work on it by themselves?

The mapsets here will work fine on the 60csx without the need for a Garmin mapset.  Actually the unit will have a built-in world basemap - very general country and state boundaries, interstate and major highways, major hyrdo features, large cities.
