Thanks for bringing this to attention. Well, yes, I do see the omissions in the map, but this is just the v1 of the map. These things can be fixed in V2 of the maps. You should always verify any section of the map that you intend to use. Use the best map available for the job. I see that there is a separate Utah map available as well at  http://www.miscjunk.org/mj/mp_uttopo.html. Maybe that does not have the mistakes and will fulfill your needs. There is no reason to lose faith in these maps. Creating the 20ft contours for entire United States is a gargantuan task and some mistakes are expected. However, for the most part, these maps pretty much provide the best seamless coverage for now.

The issue has been fixed and new installer uploaded with the fix.

The ID for MW topo has been changed and new installer is in place so it will play nice with SE, SC, SW, NW maps as well.

I got the issue resolved. I have the new installer. Oz, do you just want me to upload the new installer or the reg, img, tdb and nsis script files?

Why not use the NW topo map by John at http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/134/

It has a large number of POIs. Personally that is what I use. Maybe we should just take out the washington 24k topo and have that page redirect to the NW Topo.

To close this thread, the issue has been fixed. SouthWest USA now has a different ID from NorthWest USA. You can install and use both maps together.

I take it you are talking about the following map:

http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/22/

To load the map onto your Garmin 60csx follow the following tutorial:

http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/tutorials/how-to-load-maps-on-my-garmin-gps-unit/

Basically  you need to install the map, select the sections  you want to transfer  using the selection tool and then transfer them to your unit using the "Transfer" menu

Done and uploaded. Please verify. I have looked at it personally and it looks ok and installs fine along with NorthWest USA. Once we have confirmation, oz can then replace the original file with this one.

While waiting for John to reply, I am currently attempting to recreate the map with another ID, Once I am done, I will test it and upload it.

Once I have uploaded the new map, Oz can replace the existing map with the new one.

Hmm, I believe John might have forgotten to change the ID between the creation of the two mapsets and thus the problem. I will take a look into this and let you know.
