Non-commercial 24K NH topo map w/White Mtn Nat'l Forest trails?
« on: October 05, 2013, 11:03:11 AM »
I have downloaded and previewed all of the likely suspects from the GPSFD NH maps page, and none of them seem to include other than occasional info tags. Any ideas without going the $$ commercial route? I want to learn a newly purchased device (Oregon 450) before I decide to invest in additional software. Thanks!

Pick any of the topo maps and then add the free MyTrails map. It's an overlay that adds trails to another map when you enable both at the same time. But note, on your computer in Basecamp, you cannot combine two maps like you can on the GPS itself. So on your computer, you may not see much with MyTrails since it has a blank background.

Very clear and helpful. Thank you much!
